US-based material handling solutions provider Caldwell Group has expanded its RUD In-Stock range with the ACP-Turnado Automatic Center Lifting Point and VRS Swivel Eyebolts.
The expansion brings the total number of lifting point styles and sizes to over 170 Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), enhancing its lifting solutions offering in North America.
Based in Rockford, Illinois, Caldwell collaborates with the RUD Group to streamline sales and marketing efforts for RUD’s material handling and lifting devices.
The RUD portfolio includes slings and lifting points designed for complex tasks, suitable for integration into diverse applications.
Lifting points serve as the connection between lifting gear and loads, facilitating lifting, rotation, and movement.
They also include ring lifting lugs, eyebolts, and flanges, which connect to slings via hooks, shackles, or other elements.
Caldwell’s In-Stock programme features around 500 items, many of which ship within one business day at no extra cost.
The inventory includes RUD lifting points, below-the-hook lifters, construction lifters, forklift attachments, and Renfroe plate clamps.
The RUD In-Stock programme also includes ROV hooks, crucial for subsea, oil, and gas contractors handling valuable loads in hazardous environments.
Other available products include side pull load rings, centre pull hoist rings, swivel eye nuts, and fall protection points, all adhering to the same shipping terms.
Caldwell president and CEO Doug Stitt said: “Stocked inventory matters in our industry, and we are responding to serve distributors better.
“Our In-Stock programme makes us more efficient, smarter, and better prepared to serve customers than ever before because it forces us to focus on what matters, supporting distributors.”
RUD West regional sales manager Jay Schroeder said: “When someone needs it, they need it now. Many times, you can’t anticipate when you have a failure or an emergent need, and it is important to keep the job running.”
Earlier this year, Caldwell partnered with the RUD Group to combine sales and marketing activities in North America for RUD material handling and lifting devices.
