US-based industrial lifting solutions provider Kito Crosby has launched its 2025 Lifting for the Troops campaign to support the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.
The initiative aims to provide college scholarships and educational counselling to US military children who have lost a parent in active duty.
The company plans to raise $75,000 to address the $25,000 average funding shortfall for students pursuing higher education.
As part of the initiative, Kito Crosby will contribute $500 for each US training event under its Crosby, Harrington, Gunnebo Industries, and Peerless brands.
All proceeds from the Crosby User’s Guide for Lifting online course during this period will also benefit Fallen Patriots.
The company encourages channel partners, end-user companies, and industry players to sponsor the campaign with a minimum $500 donation to Fallen Patriots.
Private donations are welcome, and those contributing $100 or more will receive a patriotic hat adorned with the company’s logo, said Kito Crosby.
Kito Crosby CEO Robert Desel said: “Kito Crosby has proudly supported the US military for decades-from battlefield recovery and defence equipment manufacturing to critical logistics operations.
“Our partnership with Children of Fallen Patriots extends this legacy. Through our Lifting for the Troops campaign, we unite with channel partners, end users, and team members to raise funds and awareness for families who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
“I’m proud that Kito Crosby and our entire industry remain committed to honouring our fallen heroes and advancing this vital mission.”
According to Kito Crosby, more than 25,000 military children faced the loss of an active-duty parent over the past 35 years, with 60% of them facing financial issues.
Fallen Patriots has distributed nearly $78m in scholarships since 2002, yet $625m is still needed to close the national education funding gap.
Kito Crosby, with a history of training over 600,000 professionals since 1991, is leveraging its sessions this fall to support this cause.
The company, with production facilities across several US states, employs over 50 veterans and has contributed nearly $300,000 to the initiative over the past six years.
Earlier this year, Kito Crosby launched Harrington MCE Air Powered Trolleys to complement its TCE-IIB Ex-certified spark-resistant air-powered hoists.
