Manufacturer OMi Crane Systems has completed the installation of a 25t overhead capacity crane for an undisclosed client in Northeast Texas, US.
The installation process was carried out by the company’s Dallas team at the client’s location.
The same service team completed an overhead crane project in Oklahoma, US earlier this month. As part of the project, they also performed load testing on the 40t capacity crane.
OMi Cranes has more than 50 years of experience in the crane manufacturing sector.
The privately held company builds cranes that meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Crane Manufacturers Association of America (CMAA), and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
In March, OMi Crane Systems delivered a 36.5t capacity crane as part of a five-crane project in Kentucky.
OMi holds an Executive member status within the CMAA, which is affiliated with MHI.
The company offers end-to-end services for overhead lifting equipment and other types of material handling machinery. All systems are designed, engineered, and produced internally, said the company.
Earlier this year, OMi Crane Systems supplied a 2.5t capacity crane tailored for an airplane hangar.
The 128ft long crane was equipped with a control kit from R&M Materials Handling.
Custom-built to meet the hangar’s specific needs, the crane featured enhancements such as an E-track system for trolley power and control, along with a three-end truck design to accommodate a three-runway beam system.
