Texas-based OMi Crane Systems has confirmed the successful completion of a factory acceptance test for a 40t, 125ft overhead crane.
The crane utilises dual OMi trolleys and lug-mounted Detroit hoists.
It is one of the two cranes of this specification scheduled for delivery to a client in Louisiana.
The company said: “Tested Tuesday! Check out this 40-ton capacity 125-foot crane successfully pass its factory acceptance test! This crane features dual OMi Trolleys with lug mounted Detroit Hoists.
“This is one of two 125-foot cranes heading to Louisiana.”
OMi Cranes, based in the United States, designs, engineers, and manufactures overhead lifting equipment and material handling systems.
The company carries out all aspects of production internally and supplies both standardised and customised cranes.
Its products comply with regulations set out by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Crane Manufacturers Association of America (CMAA), and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
The firm holds Executive member status with the CMAA, an affiliate of MHI.
OMi Cranes has operated in crane manufacturing for more than five decades.
Recently, the company installed a 25t overhead crane at a client’s site in Northeast Texas. The company’s Dallas-based team handled the installation at the customer’s facility.
Earlier this year, OMi Cranes delivered a 36.5t capacity crane as part of a five-crane order in Kentucky.
