US-based OMi Crane Systems installed four cranes, each with an 80t capacity, for a construction company in Northeast Texas.
The installation process was carried out by the company’s Dallas service branch.
The company said: “Our Dallas Service Branch is busy installing four 80t capacity cranes, ready to lift a Northeast Texas construction company to new heights.”
OMi Cranes designs, engineers, and produces overhead lifting equipment and material handling systems, managing all steps of production internally.
The company supplies both standard and custom cranes to clients, ensuring compliance with regulations from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Crane Manufacturers Association of America (CMAA), and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
It holds Executive member status within the CMAA, which operates as an affiliate of MHI.
OMi Cranes has been active in the crane manufacturing sector for over 50 years.
Recently, the company completed a factory acceptance test for a 40t, 125ft overhead crane equipped with dual OMi trolleys and lug-mounted Detroit hoists. This crane is one of two of the same specification that will be delivered to a client in Louisiana.
The company also finished installing a 25t overhead crane in November at a site in Northeast Texas for an undisclosed client, with the Dallas team handling the on-site installation work. The same service team completed an overhead crane project in Oklahoma, US during the month.
In the same month, OMi Cranes announced the completion of an overhead crane project in Oklahoma, where its Dallas service branch conducted load testing on a 40t capacity crane.
