Harrington and Acco Material Handling Solutions (MHS) have completed their first joint project by designing and delivering a crane system for an undisclosed client.

Teams from both companies worked together to create a crane tailored to specific requirements. The included engineering the system to detailed specifications, applying custom paint to meet project criteria, and integrating an Acco wire rope hoist for lifting functionality.

The collaboration between Harrington and Acco MHS establishes a working relationship focused on meeting client needs through joint engineering and manufacturing efforts.

Harrington said: “A milestone moment for collaboration and innovation.

“This project marks the first collaboration between Harrington and Acco, setting the foundation for what’s possible when trusted brands, deep engineering expertise, and teamwork come together.”

Harrington operates as part of Kito Crosby, a company with global operations in lifting and securement.

Kito Crosby develops products for demanding environments across various industries, maintaining a presence in engineering, manufacturing, distribution, and service.

Harrington is known within Kito Crosby for providing a range of hoists, electric, air-powered, lever, and manual, and serves industrial clients seeking lifting equipment.

The company continues to focus on supplying a variety of products aimed at supporting industrial lifting needs.

Acco MHS provides engineered material handling solutions for a range of applications.

With more than a century of experience in the industry, Acco develops machinery tailored to specific requirements and supplies equipment designed for long-term use.

In November last year, Harrington installed a Max-E-Lift crane at its Manheim facility in Pennsylvania, expanding its lifting operations at the site.

The crane assisted with moving heavy components and assemblies by providing greater lifting capacity and operational safety.

In March 2025, CraneTech announced a partnership with Harrington Hoists. The companies aimed to supply a range of lifting solutions to CraneTech’s clients, including manual and electric hoists as well as wire rope systems, for use in multiple industries.
