US-based manufacturer of overhead cranes OMi Crane Systems has shipped overhead cranes with lifting capacities of 15t, 70t, and 125t to unnamed customers nationwide.
The deliveries will support operations in the aluminium mill and oil and gas sectors, meeting lifting requirements for critical industrial processes.
The company designs, engineers, and manufactures overhead lifting systems and material handling equipment at its own facilities.
The firm said: “Our team recently shipped 15t, 70t, and 125t capacity overhead cranes to customers across the country, supporting critical operations in the aluminium mill and oil & gas industries.”
Last week, OMi Cranes completed the factory acceptance test for the 125t capacity crane, which was fitted with a 125t OMi built-up hoist. The equipment met all required specifications during the test.
OMi Cranes produces both standard and custom solutions, assembled in-house to address a range of client needs.
The firm manufactures all systems in accordance with OSHA, CMAA, and NEC standards.
With more than five decades in the industry, the company maintains executive membership in the Crane Manufacturers Association of America, which is affiliated with MHI.
In March this year, OMi Cranes installed and load tested two 25t cranes for a machining and fabrication company in Cordova, Alabama. The Birmingham-based team carried out all necessary tests and confirmed that both cranes are fully operational.
