Big G Steel has completed the installation of two 40t overhead cranes at a facility in northern Louisiana.

The project, undertaken last weekend for a long-standing client, included cranes spanning 122ft each.

This latest development adds to the numerous crane systems previously installed by the company at the same location.

Big G Steel said: “For a longtime customer we’ve partnered with for years, this project included setting two (2) 40t overhead cranes with 122ft spans — adding to the dozens of systems we’ve installed at this facility.”

The Texas-based industrial service provider specialises in the installation, modification, and servicing of overhead cranes and material handling systems.

Headquartered in Greenville, with additional offices in Houston and Denver, Big G Steel operates across the US.

Founded as a family business, Big G Steel has expanded its workforce and project portfolio over several decades.

The company states its focus remains on providing reliable work and maintaining safety standards while serving clients nationwide.

Last month, the company completed an installation in New Mexico, delivering new runway steel and a compact crane system for the facility. The project provided additional material handling capability within the available space.

Before that, Big G Steel also completed an installation project in Denton, Texas. The company noted that its crews carried out the work with consistent attention to detail throughout the process.
