US-based CraneWerks has completed the installation of a 25t overhead crane at a site in Virginia for an undisclosed client.
The installation was carried out by a team from the company.
The announcement was made by CraneWerks regional sales engineer Bo Ambrose in a LinkedIn post.
He said: “Just installed a 25 tonne crane in Virginia. Great install by the CraneWerks team.”
Established in 1997, CraneWerks continues to support its independent dealer network by supplying a broad range of overhead cranes and lifting equipment for use in various commercial and industrial applications throughout the country.
The company produces bridge cranes with capacity options ranging from half a tonne to 80t, and spans up to 104ft, covering single-girder, double-girder, and box-girder configurations.
According to CraneWerks, top running bridge cranes are available with either a single girder or double girder setup. These configurations handle the movement of very heavy items.
CraneWerks partners with major hoist and component manufacturers to equip each crane with tested components prior to delivery.
Last year in July, CraneWerks appointed Bo Ambrose as regional sales engineer as the company extended its operations along the East Coast of the United States.
Ambrose joined the team with more than 30 years of experience in the overhead crane sector.
