D7 Group has expanded its operations in the US through the acquisition of a fabrication shop in Northeast Arkansas.
The facility includes two overhead 5t cranes and offers 14,500ft² of floor space dedicated to fabrication activities.
According to the company, these resources will enable D7 Group to manage a broad range of project requirements in the region.
D7 Group, in a LinkedIn post, said: “We’re excited about the opportunities this new facility will bring as we continue delivering quality workmanship, safe operations, and reliable service across all our projects.”
Founded by Tom Da Silva in 1997, D7 Group began as a provider of fire protection piping services for the forestry industry in Western Canada.
Over time, the company established a presence across North America and expanded its capabilities to include additional industrial and mechanical services.
The acquisition of a workshop in Jasper, Alabama, further enhanced D7 Group’s fabrication capacity, particularly for steel and other materials.
The company reports substantial growth over the past five years, citing a pattern of doubling annual revenue and diversifying into new industries. D7 Group attributes its expansion to evolving client requirements and the company’s ability to adapt its offerings accordingly.
D7 Group continues to emphasise a workforce structure based on merit and industry knowledge.
