US-based overhead crane and hoist systems firm Engineered Systems has completed a 132,000lb load test at a client’s facility using certified Water Weights systems.

Load and functional testing ensure the safety and reliability of overhead cranes and hoists.

The water bag load testing uses engineered, water-filled bags that are gradually filled on-site to simulate heavy loads, ensuring accurate testing and safe equipment performance.

It offers several benefits, including controlled load application with real-time monitoring, compact and portable bags for simplified logistics, flexible capacity options.

Also, the method ensures compliance with OSHA, ASME, and industry safety standards.

Engineered Systems claims that their load testing system and experienced technicians ensure equipment performs safely and efficiently.

Engineered Systems, in a LinkedIn post, said: “Recently, our team successfully completed a 132,000 lb. load test at a customer’s facility using certified Water Weights systems.

“Water Weights testing uses engineered, water-filled bags that are gradually filled on-site to stimulate heavy loads.

“Our load testing system and experienced technicians allow us to deliver accurate testing so that your equipment performs safely and efficiently every time.”
