North Western Steel has completed the installation of a full overhead bridge crane system at a pump station in Nevada, US.
The company managed the entire project in-house, including the placement of runway beams, installation of the bridge, electrical work, load testing, and final system certification before handing over the operations to the facility.
The newly installed crane is now central to the site’s maintenance operations. The addition allows staff to lift, move, and service heavy equipment on-site, reducing the need to employ external rigging services for regular maintenance tasks.
According to North Western Steel, successful completion of such projects requires precise attention to details like runway alignment, electrical integration, and load certification. The company states that it uses a single crew for all phases of the process, with no reliance on subcontractors.
