Canadian manufacturer O’Brien|Source has completed a major installation project involving over 60 cranes for an undisclosed client, delivering a complete lifting solution.
The range of lifting equipment included overhead cranes of capacities 1t, 3t, 5t, 7.5t, and 20t and jib cranes of 1t & 3t capacity.
All the cranes supplied met Crane Manufacturers Association of America (CMAA) specifications, stated the company.
The lifting solution was provided to support the cleint’s production needs.
The company said: “60+ cranes. One massive project. From jib cranes to 20-ton overhead systems, our team delivered a complete lifting solution built for serious production.”
O’Brien|Source designs and supplies material handling systems for various industries such as manufacturing, processing, construction, engineering, mining, metal production, shipbuilding yards, and terminals.
Founded in 1963 by Hubert and George O’Brien under the name O’Brien Installations, the company has operated in the sector for more than 60 years.
In 2016, the company officially changed its name to O’Brien Lifting Solutions. The company was acquired by Flatiron Crane Operating Company in April 2023.
This year, O’Brien Lifting Solutions became O’Brien|Source, a Flatiron Crane Company after its merger with Source Industrial Services.
The company’s team manages all stages of the process, including planning, delivery, assembly, and testing, to ensure the crane is operational upon deployment.
