Texas-headquartered manufacturer OMi Crane Systems has reported successful completion of an overhead crane project in Oklahoma, US.

As part of the project, the company’s Dallas service team also conducted load testing of the crane that has a 40t capacity.

In a LinkedIn post, the company said: “Our Dallas Service branch wrapped up another great project – installing and load testing a 40t capacity crane in Oklahoma!”

Founded in 1969, OMi Crane Systems supplies complete solutions for overhead lifting and other equipment used in material handling.

With more than five decades experience in the sector, the company builds cranes to align with standards set by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Crane Manufacturers Association of America (CMAA), and National Electrical Code (NEC).

The company holds executive member status with the CMAA, an MHI affiliate.

Some of the recent projects completed by the company include the completion of factory acceptance tests for a custom-built crane. This crane includes two 25t hoists equipped with load cells that enable load summing capabilities. It also features a hook block that rotates using a motorised mechanism.

OMi Crane Systems also announced that a 10t capacity crane, equipped with a Harrington hoist, passed its factory acceptance test and was being prepared for delivery.

In addition, the business revealed that a 10t capacity R&M Materials Handling kit crane successfully cleared its factory acceptance test.
