OMi Crane Systems completed the installation and load testing of two 25t cranes for a machining and fabrication company in Cordova, Alabama, US.
The Birmingham-based team conducted all required tests, confirming both cranes are operational.
The company said: “The Birmingham team wrapped up the installation and load testing of two 25t cranes this week for a machining and fabrication company in Cordova, AL. Everything is fully tested and ready for operation!
“Proud of the team for delivering another safe, efficient, and high-quality install!”
OMi Cranes manufactures overhead lifting systems and other material handling equipment at its own facilities.
The company offers standard products as well as solutions that can be customised to client specifications.
OMi Cranes designs, engineers, and assembles all systems in-house and complies with OSHA, CMAA, and NEC standards throughout its manufacturing processes.
The company is an executive member of the Crane Manufacturers Association of America (CMAA), an affiliate of MHI.
Earlier this year, OMi Cranes expanded its service network with the opening of a branch in the Ohio Valley. This new location extends the firm’s service coverage across Southern Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.
In February, OMi Cranes installed a new crane system that incorporates a Harrington RY Wire Rope Hoist for a client. The project involved deploying the RY hoist, which supports overhead lifting operations in environments requiring robust performance.
The hoist features a variable frequency drive, giving operators the ability to manage lifting and lowering speeds with improved control while minimising load swing.
