OZ Lifting Products is set to open a new manufacturing facility in Winona, Minnesota, US, next month.

The ceremony, slated to be held on 7 October, will be led by the Winona Area Chamber of Commerce and its ambassadors.

The new 40,000ft² Innovation Drive facility occupies a five-acre site and is the company’s fourth relocation, intended to support future expansion.

Visitors at the opening will be shown a range of davit cranes and base styles, hoists, clamps, trolleys and winches.

The company will also display recent product developments, including a 250lb capacity parapet davit crane base designed for temporary rooftop installation without causing damage on installation or removal.

It will also exhibit the Tele-ProÆ davit crane as well as the Alumi-LiteÆ davit made from aerospace-grade aluminium.

OZ Lifting president Steve Napieralski said: “Our move to the new Innovation Drive facility has been a real step forward — and to formally open it among such esteemed company is a landmark moment in our history.

“The building is four times larger than our previous space, which has given us room to grow and work more efficiently. Winona is a small community and it’s exciting that we will continue to be able to call it home.”

OZ Lifting manufactures davit cranes and industrial lifting equipment.

The firm was established in December 2004 with two employees and now employs 30 full-time staff operating as a global distributor.
