OZ Lifting Products, based in Winona, Minnesota, has announced the launch of a new collection of stainless steel davit cranes, along with compatible components and accessories.
The range becomes available for order on 1 June.
The line features two models, the Stainless 850 and 1500 Davit Cranes, with load capacities of 850lb and 1,500lb, respectively.
The new cranes, which mark the firm’s seventh davit family, are manufactured from type 304 stainless steel, supporting use in industries requiring corrosion, wash-down, or contamination resistance.
The cranes meet NSF H1 food-grade standards and undergo individual load tests up to 125% of their rated capacity.
Customers can access a full range of related stainless steel products, including various bases, a mast extension, wire rope holder, headache ball, backing plate, rope assemblies, and a manual brake winch.
All parts are designed for compatibility, allowing for modular configurations.
OZ Lifting states the new products integrate with existing davits and accessories, providing options for users to combine standard and stainless steel components when transitioning to equipment for sanitary or corrosive settings.
Standard features across the new cranes include an electropolished finish, a drill drive winch, integrated Weston brake, and a 2.5:1 safety factor.
The products also share a quick connect pin system, corrosion-resistant finish, and a US-patented tool-free assembly design. AC- and DC-powered winches are available as optional extras.
OZ Lifting president Steve Napieralski said: “Where customers have previously been forced into custom or suboptimal solutions, we now have a full stainless steel davit crane and component offering.
“Designed to our modular, application-focused approach, one crane can be used across multiple base installations, reducing downtime when moving between work areas.”
This latest addition strengthens the company’s stainless steel series, which already features lever hoists, chain hoists, beam clamps, push beam trolleys, and manual brake winches, commonly used in settings with strict food-grade or cleanroom requirements.
The company identifies several sectors for potential use, such as aerospace, chemical processing, electronics, food processing, mining, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, textiles, and water treatment.
In September 2025, OZ Lifting announced the opening of its new manufacturing facility in Winona, Minnesota.
