Progressive Electrical Services (PES) has finished the installation of a new overhead hoist system for a manufacturing client, completing both the electrical and structural elements of the project.
The company’s team delivered a motorised trolley system, a new hoist, updated festoon cabling, and a radio package to enable remote control operation.
This work followed an earlier contract in which PES installed all structural steel needed for the system.
Founded in February 2003 as a sole proprietorship, PES has expanded over two decades from a basement-based business to an established organisation operating out of a 3,500ft² facility in Lee, New Hampshire.
The company maintains ten service vehicles and employs 22 staff members.
Its location on Route 4 provides convenient access to Routes 125, I-95 and I-93, allowing coverage across southern Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
In 2009, the company further diversified by offering crane and hoist installation, maintenance and inspections.
The company continues to serve clients across multiple sectors from its Lee headquarters.
In March 2025, Progressive Electrical Services announced significant progress in its crane and hoist project, which involved dismantling and relocating multiple systems between facilities.
The project included the design, fabrication, and installation of a new steel runway structure for several hoists.
PES delivered comprehensive solutions for the project, which required a skilled and diverse team, in collaboration with HL Turner Engineering and American Steel.
After completing the installation of the steel structure, PES commenced the electrical work for each hoist.
