Ontario-based Prolift Crane & Hoist has supplied a 52ft span overhead crane equipped with 20t twin hoist with load summation for an undisclosed client’s facility.
The crane is supplied by Prolift Crane & Hoist’s dealer Webco Material Handling and the hoists are provided by Gantron Hoist.
The twin Gantron hoists can operate in a range of demanding environments, including both underground and elevated settings.

Prolift Crane & Hoist is preparing to install and commission the unit at the facility by the end of the year.
The company handles the manufacturing and servicing of industrial overhead cranes for clients across multiple sectors.
Its product portfolio includes overhead crane systems, hoists, and jib cranes tailored to various operational needs.
In addition to this current installation, the company has previously collaborated with Metreel and Cornerstone Material Handling on implementing a wall-mounted jib crane.
Prolift’s local technicians are responsible for ongoing equipment maintenance and support in order to ensure consistent performance.
The latest installation continues Prolift’s role in overseeing both delivery and on-site support of lifting solutions for industrial applications.
In November this year, Prolift completed the manufacture, testing, and supply of a 10t overhead crane with a 113ft span and twin Gantron hoists for a client.
In the same month, the company delivered multiple projects, including the installation of a double girder overhead crane featuring twin hoists and the same span for another client.
Prolift also installed a 10t crane equipped with a Gantron hoist at Greenstone Mine’s facility in Geraldton, Ontario.
