Steelbuilt has finished an industrial expansion in Mississauga that incorporates an integrated overhead crane system.

The project, constructed for VibraFinish, connects a new 150ft by 50ft by 32ft structure to the company’s existing facility and is intended to support intensive industrial activities over the long term.

Canadian Metal Buildings manufactured the components used in this extension, working alongside Steelbuilt to deliver the project from initial design through to final installation.

The completion of this facility addition provides VibraFinish with increased operational capacity and a connected workspace supported by an overhead crane system tailored to heavy-duty requirements.

Canadian Metal Buildings said: “Built by our Authorised Builder, STEELBUILT CORP, this industrial expansion for VibraFinish shows what strong collaboration can achieve.

“Manufactured by Canadian Metal Buildings, this project reflects the value of experienced builders, precise engineering, and a coordinated approach from design through installation.”

Steelbuilt, which handled the build, is a Canadian steel construction company with four decades of experience using local trades and domestic suppliers for its projects.

The firm specialises in pre-engineered metal buildings designed to withstand Canadian weather conditions.

Canadian Metal Buildings, responsible for supplying the engineered metal systems for this expansion, has a six-decade history in steel fabrication and assembly across North America.

The company’s previous experience includes both fabrication and on-site construction within the industry.
