Ontario-based Trade-Mark Industrial has completed the installation of an overhead crane for an undisclosed local client.
The company installed a double-girder overhead crane with a 96ft span and a capacity of 10t.
The installation process used a Rotary Hydraulic Lift Table and a Versa 60/80 Forklift to manage the alignment and rigging during the lift.
Since its founding in 1998, Trade-Mark Industrial has carried out millwrighting, rigging, electrical, piping, sheet metal and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) projects throughout Southwestern Ontario and other regions of Canada and the US.
The company employs over 500 certified tradespeople and maintains more than 200 service vehicles from its central Cambridge location.
The facility includes multiple dedicated shops for metal fabrication, pipe work, assembly, electric motor rewinding, machining, tooling and vehicle maintenance across its 365,000ft² building and adjacent yard.
Commenting on the latest development, Trade-Mark Industrial said it led the operation, handling planning and equipment selection to ensure the overhead crane installation met required standards.
“Safety, planning, and the right equipment continue to make the difference on every job,” the company added.
Trade-Mark Industrial provides installation, relocation, repair and maintenance services for plant and facility operations.
The company is an approved EASA accredited service centre. This accreditation confirms that it follows processes intended to sustain or enhance the efficiency and reliability of AC electric motors during repair work.
It is also a recipient of COR certification from the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA), which is recognised by the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations (CFCSA).
