Tri-State Overhead Crane (TSOC) has shipped a custom 1t under running double-girder bridge crane fitted with an Electrolift twin-hook rotating hoist.
The hooks of the hoist are spaced 8ft apart.
The hoist rotates continuously through 360 degrees at 1rpm and supports load positioning through a Magnetek Flex 8EX2 radio remote.
The crane also includes integrated LED line lights that project a boundary box on the floor around the hooks during operation.
The company said: “The system features a specialised Electrolift twin hook rotating hoist with hooks spaced 8ft apart.
“For added safety, integrated LED line lights project a boundary box on the floor around the hooks during operation.”
Tri-State Overhead Crane manufactures and services overhead cranes and has operated in the sector since 1959.
The company develops custom material handling systems and provides manufacturing, supply and service support.
The business focuses on overhead bridge cranes and produces equipment at its 60,000ft² facility in St Louis, Missouri.
The firm also supplies hoists, below-the-hook devices and crane controls.
TSOC works with manufacturers including CM, R&M, Harrington and Gorbel as a master distributor supplying cranes and hoists in the US.
Last month, TSOC supplied a 20t lifting system after completing a three-day loading operation.
The shipment was moved on several trailers and included a 125ft freestanding runway and a double-girder bridge crane with a 41ft span.
The system also featured two 20t hoists from R&M Materials Handling, Magnetek Flex EX tandem radio controls and a laser collision-avoidance system.
