Tri-State Overhead Crane (TSOC) has shipped a 10t double-girder bridge crane system, which includes a 120ft freestanding runway.
Both the crane and the runway were fabricated at the company’s facility.
The crane features a 60ft span and enables a hook height of 15ft, utilising an R&M Materials Handling SX50 low headroom electric wire rope hoist and Magnetek Flex EX radio controls for operation.
The R&M Materials Handling SX50 hoist is manufactured for environments that require robust material handling, while the Magnetek Flex EX controls allow wireless operation of the crane, replacing traditional wired pendants.
Magnetek’s Flex EX remote control series, succeeded by the Flex EX2, supports various button configurations for machine control.
TSOC, established in 1959 and based in St. Louis, Missouri, produces, supplies, and maintains overhead cranes and hoists.
Operating from a 60,000ft² facility, the company remains under family ownership and manages partnerships for equipment distribution and authorised repair.
TSOC acts as a Master Distributor for several brands, including CM, Demag, Harrington, and Gorbel, and continues to offer material handling solutions to a range of sectors.
Last month, Tri-State Overhead Crane delivered a 5t double girder crane with a Detroit hoist and a 10t explosion proof double girder crane.
The company also dispatched the initial unit in a series of 28 cranes, consisting of a 12.5m-tonne double-girder crane with a 96ft span. The remaining 27 units from this order are set to be shipped at a later date.
