Uzelac Industries has established a 40t overhead crane bay in its newly constructed 39,000ft² headquarters and manufacturing plant located in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, US.
This development accompanies the company’s relocation from Greendale, Wisconsin, aiming to augment its production capability for custom-engineered rotary dryers and provide fabrication services for large equipment original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
The new premises also include additional crane bays with capacities of 10t and 3t, with the latter offering an under-hook height of 26ft 7in.
Advanced machinery such as plate rolls, water jets, and press brakes are part of the facility’s offerings, signifying a significant growth from Uzelac’s earlier facilities, which ranged between 3,000ft² to 5,000ft².
Despite these advancements, the business remains a family-run operation with a workforce of 26 employees.
Uzelac Industries specialises in the design of rotary dryer systems, which are utilised by clients to transform operational waste into usable byproducts like animal feed supplements and fertiliser.
The company’s provision of large equipment fabrication services to OEMs will also benefit from the new site, reported Powder Bulk Solids.
Uzelac founder and CEO Mike Uzelac said: “This new facility represents an exciting milestone for Uzelac Industries.
“It’s an investment in our people, our innovation, and our ability to deliver high-quality engineered solutions to customers across the country and world.
