Canada-based overhead crane and hoist specialist company Venter Cranes has disclosed the successful completion of a routine quarterly inspection of a Demag overhead crane for a client in Manitoba.
The company’s “factory-trained technicians” performed both testing and inspection as part of the scheduled maintenance.
The service formed part of ongoing efforts to maintain equipment compliance with safety and operational standards.
In a LinkedIn post, Venter Cranes president Bradley Sliedrecht said: “Another Demag overhead crane in action — tested and inspected by our factory-trained technicians during a scheduled quarterly inspection for one of our clients in Manitoba this weekend. Regular inspections keep your equipment safe, compliant, and running at peak performance.”
Venter Cranes, based in Saskatchewan, carries out inspections, maintenance, certifications, and parts supply for overhead cranes and hoists.
The company holds authorised service and parts provider status for Demag and R&M Material Handling within its region.
Venter Cranes specialists work with a wide range of crane brands including Kone, Street, Shaw-Box, GH, and Condra.
In addition to its head office in Canada, Venter Cranes operates a branch in Houston, Texas, which supplies crane industry services based on substantial hands-on experience.
The company completes tasks such as equipment installation, load testing using WaterWeights systems, and the provision of electrification and control solutions from Duct-O-Wire, Conductix, and Inmotion Controls.
Venter Cranes recently finished another installation of a 500 kg R&M LR Electric Chain Hoist.
