Venter Cranes has reported several confirmed equipment orders in December, concluding the year with a series of supply contracts across Saskatoon, Canada.
The company received its final order for 2025 on 29 December from a department within the City of Saskatoon for a 2t high-lift hoist equipped with a trolley.
In addition, ten Demag electric chain hoists are scheduled for delivery to a local fabrication facility, while another unit will support operations at a warehouse in the city.
Earlier this month, a 3t jib crane with a 20ft reach, accompanied by a DVR wire rope hoist, was ordered for an underground mining site in northern Saskatchewan.
This package is intended for use in demanding operational conditions and frequent-duty cycles.
In the last two weeks, Venter Cranes has received various purchase orders related to projects at Nutrien and Mosaic potash facilities.
For the coming January, Venter Cranes plans to deliver two double-girder overhead hoists from R&M Materials Handling, as well as provide a 15t Demag crane kit timed for an upcoming major build in 2026.
The company is also set to finish installation, commissioning and testing of two recently supplied 30t double-girder cranes.
Venter Cranes director Bradley Sliedrecht said: “Steady, faithful, and skilled.

The company continues to act as the regional official service provider for Demag OEM and R&M Materials Handling, supporting clients with factory-trained technicians.
