US-based machinery manufacturing company YorkHoist recently installed a bespoke 3t crane system incorporating Harrington Hoists for a client, fulfilling specific operational requirements.

The company oversaw the design, engineering, fabrication, and installation phases for this project.

The finished system is designed to meet the facility’s specific material-handling requirements.

YorkHoist territory sales representative Matthew Keckler said: “We recently completed a custom 3-ton crane system equipped with a reliable Harrington Hoists —built to meet the specific needs of our customer’s operation.

“From design and engineering to fabrication and installation, this project is a great example of what we do every day—delivering tailored lifting solutions that are built for performance, safety, and long-term reliability. Because at the end of the day, no two facilities are the same and your crane system shouldn’t be either.”

YorkHoist, established in 1975 by Gerald Kurtz and Charles May, operates as a family business and has expanded across two succeeding generations.

The firm remains entirely family-run, continuing to provide material handling and overhead crane solutions.

YorkHoist maintains its commitment to safety protocols while focusing on service delivery.

Through its history, the company has prioritised client relationships and continued engagement with local communities.

In October 2025, YorkHoist installed a custom 10t YorkHoist bridge crane at a client site.
