Ontario-based industrial machinery manufacturing company Zelus Material Handling has delivered a 10t overhead crane to an undisclosed client.

The crane, which has a span of 52ft, will arrive at a nuclear generating station.

It is equipped with variable frequency drive (VFD) controls which allow for controlled movement and are intended for use in critical lifting tasks at the facility.

The customer is said to have maintained consistent communication and collaboration throughout the project which resulted in a swift delivery by the company, stated an executive of Zelus.

Appreciating the client, Zelus Material Handling project manager Aaron said on the company’s LinkedIn post: “Kudos to an outstanding customer for the seamless communication and collaboration, and to the Zelus team for executing flawlessly. Projects like this show what true partnership can achieve — delivered on time and under budget.”

Aaron also added: “A project that finishes under budget isn’t luck — it’s communication. On our recent 10-ton crane project, the difference wasn’t fancy software or overtime — it was clear, consistent communication with the customer and within our team.

“Every morning, we aligned on priorities, flagged potential issues, and made sure everyone knew what decisions needed to be made. That prevented small problems from snowballing into big ones.

“The result? The project was delivered on time, under budget, and with zero compromises on quality.”

Zelus Material Handling designs, manufactures, and maintains overhead cranes, hoists, monorails, and jib cranes for various lifting requirements.

The company is a primary distributor for brands including R&M Material Handling, Demag, CanStahl, and GH Cranes.
