Tri-State Overhead Crane (TSOC), based in St. Louis, Missouri, has shipped a 5t double girder crane equipped with a Detroit hoist, along with a 10t explosion proof double girder crane.
The company has also dispatched the first crane in a series of 28 units, which is a 12.5-metric-tonne double girder model featuring a span of 96ft.
The remaining 27 cranes from this order are scheduled for future shipment.
The company said: “Three cranes out the door this week! Our fabrication team shipped a 5t double girder with a Detroit hoist, a 10t explosion proof double girder, and the first crane on a 28-unit order — a 12.5 metric ton double girder with a 96ft span. Twenty-seven more to follow on that last one.”
Founded in 1959, TSOC produces, supplies, and services overhead cranes and hoists from its 60,000ft² facility.
The organisation operates as a family-owned business and maintains partnerships for equipment distribution and authorised repair services. It also serves as a Master Distributor for brands such as CM, Demag, Harrington, and Gorbel.
TSOC continues to provide material handling solutions for various sectors, drawing on its long presence in the industry.
Last month, TSOC supplied three 15t top-running, double-girder bridge cranes to a client. Each crane matched in specification, featuring a 56ft span and a 26ft hook height.
All units came fitted with R&M Materials Handling SX5061 double-girder electric wire rope hoists. The SX5061 model incorporates a six-rope fall setup designed for use with double-girder bridge cranes, providing a high lifting capacity while maintaining low headroom.
