Munck Cranes has dispatched two 5t top-running single-girder bridge cranes to the US as part of a recent export.
The shipment also includes a 70ft full-support runway system, a 110 amp conductor bar, anti-collision equipment, as well as pendant and radio controls.
The lifting equipment is part of a tailored solution designed to meet the customer’s operational needs once installed.
The company said: “A great example of a custom lifting solution built to support the customer’s operation from day one.”
Munck Cranes produces overhead cranes for the North American market, supplying a range of engineered lifting systems. The company is now integrated within Zelus Material Handling.
This integration follows Zelus Material Handling’s acquisition of Munck Cranes in December 2025, which expanded its manufacturing and service network across Canada and allowed for enhanced technical and operational support capabilities.
Both companies now jointly deliver and support lifting systems for industrial facilities.
In April this year, Zelus Material Handling installed a workstation crane system at a facility in Strathroy, Ontario.
The new system spanned several bays and featured three motorised bridge cranes, each with a lifting capacity of 1,000kg.
The cranes operate on a 90ft runway and provide precise material handling for site operations. The installation features an enclosed-track system, electric chain hoists, and vacuum lifters with tilt capability.
The equipment is configured to support production requirements while reducing safety risks and minimising operator strain during handling.
