Universal Fabricating North America has installed new 15t overhead cranes at its recently constructed facility, as part of a broader effort to expand its manufacturing capacity.
The company, which specialises in fabrication services across several industries, announced that the addition of overhead cranes and new welding equipment is designed to enable greater efficiency and capability within its production operations.
The latest investment comes as Universal Fabricating North America seeks to respond to increased demand and enhance its ability to serve its client base.
The company stated that the improvements are intended to give employees access to enhanced tools and resources, supporting ongoing growth in its operations.
Universal Fabricating senior account manager Jacob Neufeld said: “This expansion isn’t just about adding square footage, it’s about creating the capacity to better serve our customers and giving our team the tools they need to succeed.”
Universal Fabricating North America also highlighted the role of its workforce in the company’s development.

Founded in 2004 with two employees, Universal Fabricating has grown to employ more than 70 people and operates in a facility with 59,000ft² of manufacturing space.
The company reports that it has produced over 7,000,000ft² in greenhouse structures since inception. Its range of services includes fibre sheet and tube laser cutting, water jet cutting, and press brake forming.
The company also provides steel, stainless steel and aluminium welding (CWB Certified), robot welding, machining, powder coating, mechanical assembly, CMM inspection, and mechanical design.
Universal Fabricating’s customer base includes clients in automotive and other sectors, for whom it delivers customised fabrication solutions.
The company states it is focused on quality, precision, and timely delivery across its manufacturing processes.
