Acculift has completed the installation of a 10t overhead crane spanning 64ft in the Tillsonburg area of Ontario, Canada for an unnamed client.
The company designed this Class D crane for use in production settings that require ongoing, intensive lifting capabilities.
The new crane features variable frequency drive (VFD) controls and a wire rope hoist, supporting frequent and sustained operation.
Acculift said: “A great project, a great customer, and another job completed safely and efficiently.”
Acculift began providing equipment and services to the manufacturing industry in 1985.
The company manages projects from initial planning through installation and subsequent support, offering a range of lifting equipment such as overhead and jib cranes, lifting magnets, and chain hoists.
Acculift adapts its equipment and services to fit the intended application and available budget, reducing the risk of issues related to improper design or installation.
During the installation process, Acculift undertakes load testing and provides all required testing weights on-site, so that equipment certification is completed immediately.
Acculift supplies all necessary documentation for its installations, such as maintenance manuals, conformance certificates, and inspection records.
In addition to meeting regulatory requirements, the company informs clients about compliance responsibilities during the engineering and installation phases.
This most recent installation marks another project for Acculift within the Ontario region, strengthening its presence in the local manufacturing sector.
In April, Acculift installed two custom 5t overhead cranes at a new manufacturing facility in Manitoba, Canada.
The installation addressed headroom constraints within the building, requiring a tailored approach to fit the available space. Willm’s Craning provided support with lifting and positioning the cranes during the project.
