US-based industrial services company Big G Steel has completed the installation of 11 runway systems and 12 overhead cranes for a client in Odessa, Texas.
The work forms part of the company’s ongoing operations, providing crane and material handling solutions.
The Odessa project is among recent large-scale installations by the firm, which carries out both new construction and repair services for overhead cranes and related systems.
The company said: “This project included 11 runway systems and 12 overhead cranes, another large-scale installation completed with the quality and execution our customers count on.”
With more than 30 years of experience, Big G Steel operates out of its headquarters in Greenville, Texas, and maintains branch offices in Houston and Denver.

Before that, the company completed a power system upgrade for a long-standing client in the steel industry. Big G Steel’s teams carried out a mainline power upgrade, critical for operating cranes and sustaining productivity at the facility.
In March, the business finalised the installation of two 40t overhead cranes at a northern Louisiana facility. Each crane had a span of 122ft.
