SafeLift Crane Aid, a division of Venter Cranes, has installed ten new Demag chain hoists and trolleys on an undisclosed customer’s jib cranes at a Saskatoon facility.
The Venter Cranes unit, which operates in Canada, focuses on overhead crane and hoist sales and services. SafeLift Crane Aid managed the installation as part of its recent project work for local industry.
The equipment, made by Demag, includes 1t chain hoists designed for use in high-demand industrial environments.
The commissioning and final safety checks of the hoists and trolleys will take place as the last phase before full operation begins at the site.
SafeLift Crane Aid’s team, trained for factory-level service and support, oversees this process.
The Venter Cranes division also provides ongoing technical services, including commissioning, maintenance, inspections, modernisation, and parts supply for overhead cranes and hoists.
SafeLift Crane Aid operations manager Bradley Sliedrecht said: “As Saskatchewan’s Demag specialists, we are proud to provide OEM-backed lifting solutions with local support and factory-trained technicians who understand the importance of keeping industry moving safely and reliably.”
This latest project demonstrates SafeLift Crane Aid’s continued presence in the Canadian market, handling new installations and servicing equipment for clients across manufacturing, mining, utilities, processing, and infrastructure sectors.
It supports both Demag and R&M brands, offering OEM-backed components and solutions.
SafeLift Crane Aid delivers a range of services from load testing to electrification and technical troubleshooting, aiming to ensure lifting equipment operates safely and efficiently within industrial facilities.
Last month, SafeLift Crane Aid installed and commissioned a Demag DC-Com Chain Hoist at the City of Saskatoon Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Following installation, technicians conducted load testing to verify safety and operational performance prior to placing the equipment into regular use.
