Superior Crane Corporation (SCC) has installed a system of 16 cranes and a runway at a new facility for an undisclosed client, the company announced.

The project includes eight top-running, double-girder cranes with a 52ft span, each with a capacity of 35t and equipped with two 17.5t trolley hoists.

An additional eight cranes of the same capacity, each with a 75ft span and two 17.5t trolley hoists, were also part of the installation.

The company stated that its service crew is making significant headway on the project.

SCC is headquartered in the US and provides design and manufacturing services for overhead crane systems. Its operations cover standard products as well as customised solutions.

The company acts as a full-service provider in the overhead material handling and machining equipment industry, offering design, engineering, production, and installation services.

In addition to delivering crane systems, Superior Crane supplies hoists and crane components to meet varying capacity requirements.

The company serves as a master dealer for brands such as R&M, Columbus McKinnon, and Magnetek.

Its client base includes multiple brands, reflecting a presence across several sectors in the material handling industry.

SCC said that it continues to provide tailored overhead material handling systems to address specific client needs.

Last month, SCC completed the installation of an overhead crane system for a manufacturing client in the US.

The project included supplying and installing two top-running, double box girder cranes, each with a 75t capacity and an individual 35t auxiliary hoist.
