US-based machinery manufacturer YorkHoist has begun installing a custom crane system with 1t and 2t lifting capacities for an undisclosed client.

The company partnered with TC/American to supply the system, which features an ergonomic design intended to streamline handling operations.

This installation features a Harrington 2t Air Hoist, which provides consistent lifting performance for industrial applications.

YorkHoist territory sales representative Matthew Keckler said: “YorkHoist is proud to be installing another custom 1t and 2t crane system, built with performance and operator comfort in mind.

“From design to installation, it’s all about building systems that work smarter, safer, and stronger.”

YorkHoist has operated as a family business since its establishment in 1975 by Gerald Kurtz and Charles May.

The firm specialises in overhead crane and material handling solutions and continues to be managed by subsequent generations of the founding families.

The company maintains emphasis on safety standards within its operations and works to maintain relationships with its clients and the local community.

YorkHoist states that it will continue to deliver projects which prioritises safe and effective systems.

Earlier this month, YorkHoist installed a custom 3t crane system for a client, using Harrington hoists to address particular operational needs.

The company managed the project from design and engineering through to fabrication and installation. The completed system aligns with the material-handling requirements of the facility.
