Acculift has completed the installation of two custom 5t overhead cranes at a newly constructed manufacturing facility in Manitoba, Canada.

The project involved adapting to limited headroom within the building, which required a specific installation strategy.

Machinery moving company Willm’s Craning assisted with the lifting and placement of the cranes, contributing to the project’s completion.

The cranes were designed specifically to fit the dimensions and operational requirements of the facility.

The company said: “With the support of Willm’s Craning, we delivered a safe, efficient installation without compromise. Another solid project complete.”

Acculift, which has operated since 1985, provides industrial lifting equipment to the manufacturing sector with a focus on overhead cranes, jib cranes, chain hoists, and related solutions.

The company manages projects from planning through installation, offering ongoing support to its clients.

Acculift states that it prioritises understanding operational challenges to deliver solutions aligned with client needs.

The recent installation adds to Acculift’s portfolio of projects in the region.

In March, Acculift completed the installation of multiple overhead cranes at a manufacturing site in Midland, Ontario, to support the production of prefabricated building envelope systems.

The facility, covering 100,000ft² on a 36-acre parcel, produces wall panels, modular units, and additional components for use in construction.

The installation included overhead cranes with capacities between 2t and 8t, alongside several jib cranes to aid material handling on the production floor.
