US-based Promise to Perform Industries has officially opened a 43,000ft² manufacturing facility in Franklin, Wisconsin.
This location, which began operating earlier in the year, was marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on 8 October.
The facility is the fourth manufacturing site for the company in the US.
The Franklin site has been set up to increase the company’s capacity for producing Spanco gantry cranes, workstation bridge cranes, jib cranes, and Rigid Lifelines fall protection systems.
Promise to Perform Industries said the new plant would strengthen its presence in the Midwest region as demand in the area grows.
The ribbon-cutting event was attended by company executives, local officials, employees, customers, distributors, and community partners.
According to the company, the gathering highlighted plans for operational expansion and efforts to serve customers in the region with greater efficiency.
The firm stated that its decision to locate the facility in Franklin is intended to reduce freight costs, shorten product lead times, and provide extra manufacturing capacity for current and future product ranges.
Manufacturing products closer to Midwest customers will, according to the company, allow Promise to Perform Industries to enhance its service for both its dealer network and end users.
Promise to Perform Industries president and CEO Jeff Brazwell said: “This investment reflects our commitment to our Midwest customers, dealer network, and the continued growth of our brands.
“The opening of our Franklin facility is an exciting milestone for our company. We are grateful for the warm welcome we have received from the community and look forward to building lasting relationships while continuing to provide the quality products and service our customers have come to expect.”
Promise to Perform Industries is based in Morgantown, Pennsylvania, and is the parent company of Spanco, Rigid Lifelines, and Lug-All.
The company’s facilities are ISO 9001:2015 certified, and its products comply with CMAA, OSHA, ANSI, MMA, and HMI requirements.
