US-based YorkHoist is preparing to deliver cranes and runway systems to clients in Maryland and Florida.

According to the company, 2t cranes and freestanding runways will be sent to a customer in Maryland, while 3t cranes along with freestanding runways are scheduled for delivery to Florida.

YorkHoist’s parent company HCR Brands senior technical estimator Tim Burnish said: “Cranes are getting ready for delivery! 2t cranes and freestanding runways are heading to a client in Maryland and the 3t cranes and freestanding runways are heading to Florida.

“Big shoutout to the manufacturing team and the whole York Hoist team for being on time!!”

Founded in 1975 by Gerald Kurtz and Charles May, YorkHoist remains a family-run business with a focus on overhead cranes and material handling solutions.

The company remains managed by later generations of its founding families. YorkHoist says it prioritises safety standards across its operations.

YorkHoist said it will continue to carry out projects that emphasise the importance of safe and effective systems.

The business also works to maintain longstanding relationships with its clients and participates in activities within the local community.

YorkHoist’s latest deliveries follow a longstanding tradition of supplying material handling equipment to various regions.

Earlier this month, YorkHoist completed the installation of three new 5t bridge cranes for a client. The project involved collaboration among teams from York, Allentown, and Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania.

The teams jointly removed two existing ACCO-Wright bridge cranes and installed new YorkHoist bridge cranes as part of an upgrade to the client’s facility.

The new cranes feature R&M Materials Handling Spacemaster SXR wire rope hoists and Panther radio controls supplied by Tele Radio Group.
