CraneTech, a US-based provider of industrial crane solutions, has announced a significant expansion of its manufacturing plant in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The expansion, which entails more than $2m investment, is expected to increase the facility’s size twofold and create several new jobs.
It builds on the 30 positions already established since CraneTech entered the Tulsa market last year, strengthening its commitment to Tulsa and Oklahoma.
The upgraded facility will feature dedicated fabrication capabilities, extensive infrastructure, and ample yard space, playing a crucial role in CraneTech’s growth strategy.
In addition, it will include an advanced parts warehouse, enhancing service efficiency for CraneTech’s expanding customer base in the central region.
Oklahoma Department of Commerce EDGE executive director Evan Brown said: “I’m excited to see CraneTech reinvesting in the Tulsa community.
“This is just another example of our state’s pro-business polices encouraging existing Oklahoma companies to expand and grow.”
Established in 2004, CraneTech offers quality products, superior training, and expert support, with a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, and employee well-being.
CraneTech provides crane installations, inspections, repairs, and training for clients across the US with 30 offices, 43 service areas, and over 400 employees.
The company said the expansion of its Oklahoma facility aligns with its ongoing efforts to invest in its operations and workforce.
By enhancing capacity, the company aims to meet the rising demand for crane services across the US, reflecting its dedication to innovation and service excellence.
CraneTech CEO Eric Factor said: “This expansion in Tulsa is a key milestone in our ongoing commitment to delivering top-quality products and services while providing opportunities for growth within our team.
“We are excited to continue investing in our people and expanding our capabilities to maintain our position as the best crane service provider in the country.”
Earlier this year, CraneTech entered a strategic partnership with Harrington Hoists, a subsidiary of Kito Crosby, to deliver reliable lifting solutions to its clients.
