US-based Southeast Rigging has completed the installation of a Gorbel 1t workstation crane system, aiming to facilitate controlled load movement and minimise manual handling in a working production environment.

The project incorporated an enclosed track bridge design and a runway structure aligned to support long-term use and consistent load positioning.

The workstation crane system allows for smoother and more predictable movement of materials, supporting operational consistency.

When engineered and installed correctly, such systems can lower operator strain, reduce the likelihood of product damage, increase throughput stability, and simplify compliance with relevant safety standards.

Southeast Rigging general manager Mason Graham said: “This installation included enclosed track bridge design and aligned runway structure to ensure long-term reliability and controlled load positioning.

“Well-designed crane systems are not just about lifting capacity. They directly influence safety exposure, production efficiency, and long-term equipment performance.”

Southeast Rigging operates out of multiple locations across Florida, including Jacksonville, Tampa and Orlando.

The company provides ongoing services, including bridge crane repairs, gantry system installation, hoist replacement, control troubleshooting, load testing, and annual overhead crane inspections.

Southeast Rigging manufactures chain slings that meet ASME and NACM standards and supports its customers through after-sales service, training programmes and regular inspections.

All products are inspected for compliance with industry manufacturing and distribution standards.

The organisation is OSHA certified and emphasises adherence to safety regulations throughout its operations.
