US-based industrial equipment and service provider Specht Industries has installed a 1t monorail system at the Water Quality Control Facility (WQCF) in Patterson, California.

The installation was completed with support from Overaa Construction, which served as the general contractor and design-build firm responsible for the lift and placement.

Specht Industries said: “A huge thanks to Overaa Construction for a well-executed lift and installation with our Specht Team.”

The WQCF treatment plant occupies about 240 acres and is designed to handle up to 2.45 million gallons each day. On average, the facility processes approximately 1.8 million gallons of wastewater daily.

Specht Industries, which has operated in the sector for more than two decades, provides services across product selection, design layouts, engineering drawings, and installation.

The company provides end-to-end solutions tailored to the operational needs of industrial facilities, including project management and technical design.

The company remains engaged in work with regional clients, supplying similar operational solutions for industrial environments.

The recent work at Patterson’s WQCF is part of its ongoing efforts to serve industrial customers by supplying equipment and support that assist in meeting operational demands.

In July, Specht Industries finished the installation of three 5t bridge cranes for an unnamed client. The work took place as part of a broader programme of industrial crane projects coordinated by the company.

In May, the company announced the installation of a 30t structure that incorporated three 5t top-running bridge crane systems. Each crane was equipped with two R&M Materials Handling hoists, each rated at 15t.

Earlier this year, in January, Specht installed a new 30t bridge crane together with a single-column structure for a manufacturing client in Santa Clarita, California. This installation aimed to expand the manufacturer’s material-handling capabilities on site.
