Wolter has completed the installation of a Gorbel bridge crane at an undisclosed client’s facility in the Southeast region of the US.

The equipment is intended to support improvements in material handling, safety, and workflow at the site, according to the company.

The project included supplying and installing a Gorbel-designed bridge crane from a leading manufacturer of material lifting and handling equipment.

Wolter’s team carried out the installation, which the company reports was completed successfully.

The company said: “Our team recently installed a Gorbel bridge crane for a customer in the Southeast, helping improve material handling efficiency, safety, and workflow in their facility.”

Wolter provides crane installation services ranging from workstation crane projects to larger overhead crane systems.

The company states that its staff has the expertise and resources necessary to complete such installations for industrial, construction, and commercial customers.

Established in 1962, Wolter is a provider of equipment and services related to operational productivity.

Wolter offers a broad range of products and services, including new and used forklifts, material handling equipment, service and training, robotics, automation, overhead cranes, high density storage solutions, and integrated systems.

Earlier this month, Wolter completed the acquisition of Delta Materials Handling, extending its operations into the Mid-South region of the US.

The deal brings Wolter into new markets, including Memphis and Jackson in Tennessee, Tupelo in Mississippi, and Jonesboro in Arkansas.

Both companies focus on providing forklifts and material handling equipment.

According to Wolter, the acquisition combines Delta’s customer base and experience in the Mid-South with Wolter’s range of equipment, services, and wider market access.

Last month, Graco, a US-based company that manufactures fluid and powder material equipment, installed a customised Gorbel Workstation Crane with a GS Series Hoist at one of its production sites in Anoka.
