Yuantai Crane, a Chinese manufacturer of overhead cranes and hoists, has supplied a 16t QDX double-girder overhead crane to an undisclosed Canadian client.
The crane, equipped with a wire rope trolley, is designed for heavy material handling operations.
According to the company, the double-girder structure allows the crane to handle demanding lifting tasks.
The system uses a wire rope trolley to manage both vertical lifting and horizontal movement of loads along the bridge.
The equipment was provided as part of a new project in Canada, where requirements for load capacity, working area, lifting height, and operating conditions shaped the final crane configuration.
The QDX double-girder overhead crane has a lifting capacity of 16t.
Yuantai Crane said this type of product is targeted at applications that require reliable performance in heavy-duty environments.
Yuantai Crane sales and project representative Jasmine said: “Every crane project starts with the customer’s actual lifting needs, including load capacity, working area, lifting height, and operating conditions.”
Yuantai Crane, founded in February 2012, operates from a manufacturing base at Henan Dongqi Machinery.
The company’s roots go back to Dongfeng Machinery, which was established in 1984.
Yuantai Crane produces various lifting solutions, including overhead cranes, jib cranes, and customised cranes for specific requirements.
The company reports delivering over 200 projects per year since 2020 across different industry sectors.
Yuantai Crane said its goal is to improve material-handling efficiency and reduce costs through customisation and modern control systems.
The company remains active in supplying equipment to clients worldwide.
In February 2026, Yuantai Crane supplied a 10t A-frame gantry crane, fitted with a chain hoist, to a client in the US. The crane is designed for mobility and straightforward installation, making it suitable for workshops and warehouses.
