
US-based Crane 1 Services has completed the installation of a 60,000lb hoist as part of a major crane installation project at a facility involved in advanced manufacturing and clean technology.
The company stated that it followed OSHA-compliant processes throughout the project and operated in demanding conditions.
Crane 1, in a LinkedIn post, said: “We don’t just install cranes — we power the infrastructure behind America’s next generation of manufacturing.”
The company provides safety inspections, scheduled preventive maintenance, emergency breakdown response, proactive repairs, equipment modernisation and upgrades, parts sales, engineering solutions, spare parts evaluation, as well as operator and safety training services.
Its product portfolio includes cranes and crane systems, hoists, and runway and monorail systems.
Crane 1 serves various markets, including aerospace, auto manufacturing, energy and utilities, general manufacturing, logistics, and pulp and paper
In August 2024, Crane 1 acquired Standard Crane & Hoist, a provider of overhead crane inspections, repairs, maintenance, parts, and new cranes, with eight locations across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas.
Founded in 1909 by Cal Hadden as the Standard Supply Company, Standard Crane initially focused on the industrial supply market in the Gulf Coast region.
