Venter Cranes & Industrial Maintenance has completed the installation of two double-girder Class D cranes for a client’s facility in Martensville, Canada.

Each of the cranes span 51ft in length with a capacity of 30t. The two systems are equipped with dual 15t hoists.

The installation process was carried out by the company’s team at the clients’ location.

Based in Saskatchewan, Venter Cranes provides services including overhead crane inspections, certifications, maintenance, and supply of parts.

The company is the authorised provider of DEMAG and R&M Material Handling service and parts for the region.

Additionally, its team conducts installations and load testing as part of crane solution offerings.

Venter Cranes also offers WaterWeights load testing and rental services throughout Western Canada.

The business follows relevant CSA B167, ASME B30, and original manufacturer standards in its operations.

The company has operated for over 75 years and supplies solutions aimed at maintaining lifting equipment to required compliance levels.

Recently, Venter Cranes revealed its progress on an overhead crane project in Martensville, Saskatchewan, where the company was preparing to assemble and install two overhead crane bridges. Each bridge had a capacity of 30t and a length of 50ft.

In October, Venter Cranes completed a quarterly inspection and test of a Demag overhead crane for a client in Manitoba.

Technicians performed routine maintenance to ensure the crane met required safety and operational standards as part of the client’s ongoing compliance programme.

During August, Venter Cranes conducted a 20t load test at a remote site, using WaterWeights equipment.

The testing process was completed with a total equipment weight of 450kg, as only water needed to be added once onsite.
